Rebecca Messner
Born in Hannover, Germany, and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Rebecca is a German-Colombian-American producer, writer, and podcast host in New York City. She is a second-year BS student in Advertising and Marketing Communications at the Fashion Institute of Technology, pursuing minors in Economics and Film & Media Studies. She has a strong interest in topics of feminism, identity, political storytelling, media ethics, and cultural criticism.
Her work often explores how art and communication intersect with social change. She is currently developing her voice through film, podcasting, and live performance.
