She conducted research on Vitra’s archives, designers, demographics, and Generation-Z trend forecasting. She had the pleasure of meeting with various departments to learn about the entire concept-to-creation process for furniture design, including AI integration, marketing strategies, trend scouting, prototype testing, and sourcing sustainable materials and textiles.
Following this incredible experience, she returned in the Fall of 2023 to FIT and switched over to the Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology as an Advertising and Marketing Communications major. Since then, she has taken various roles, such as Womenswear Chair of Runway27 and Podcast Director of Blush Magazine, as well as taken up NYFW opportunities. She was a photographer for Melina Pinedo’s SS24 collection with a focus on international model Nadine Naue (featured in Vogue, Marie Claire, Kenzo, YSL, etc.), a stylist for Sherri Hill and Future of Fashion, and a production intern for Melitta Baumeister.
Leading up to the 2024 Presidential Election, Rebecca participated in Fashion For Our Future, marching with Ana Wintour, Vogue, and CFDA. The non-partisan march encouraged voter registration and united 1,000+ participants from the American fashion industry.
